There are genetic test and there are "quality genetic test".  Just because tests are called NIPT, they may use different DNA sequencing technologies, experiment protocols or analysis software. Not even a medical professional can tell a quality genetic from the rest by simply reading the brochure.

Our program is a valuable service that provides consumers and medical professionals with reliable, objective means they need to identify quality testing service providers. Only the best testing laboratories will be included in the NIPTSTAR Program. All our participating laboratory members are also automatically covered by the professional liability insurance.

Program Overview

Participation in the NIPTSTAR Laboratory program is open to any NIPT/NIPS Test Laboratories that can demonstrate the ability to conform to NIPTSTAR's standards and agrees to the terms and conditions of NIPTSTAR Agreement.
